“Real life begins after one realizes that it’s a game with no inherent meaning and is supposed to be played, not with greed but with pleasure.”

Nothing matters. That’s what the guru uttered to commence his lecture with 600 students listening in eagerly. Each student desperate to discover something esoteric and leave the lecture with a mind full of peace and wisdom. The guru’s words hugely impacted the crowds attention, as it created suspense but at the same time revealed everything at once.

He goes on to say — ”nothing matters, there is no meaning to life. Anything we do amounts to nothing. Us mortal beings have nothing but the benefit of doubt to seek. Our power to comprehend the very secret of nature is a bane to us. But what should we do when everything feels visionless and nihilistic? Well that is the true version of life. There is no meaning to it all. We the beings attach meanings to things and thoughts. But in the end nothing matters. That’s the true meaning no doubt, but then what? Well, you can try to be hedonistic for a while and roam around with hands in your pocket, gaze at the sky with immense peace, or throw rocks at the waves on the beach. Do whatever pleases you without attaching meaning to it. It may make you miserable, it will definitely make you somewhat desperate to search for meaning. Man’s search for meaning doesn’t end where he realizes nothing matters, it rather begins after that moment.

He ends his lecture with — “Real life begins after one realizes that it’s a game with no inherent meaning and is supposed to be played, not with greed but with pleasure”

While wealth doesn’t guarantee wisdom, successful individuals often cultivate habits and mindsets that contribute to their achievements.

Below are the top 7 well researched secrets that only the wealthy live by:

1. Prioritize ruthlessly

The wealthy understand the power of focused action. They prioritize ruthlessly, channeling their time and energy into activities with the highest ROI (return on investment) towards their goals. There is only one life, prioritize ruthlessly and leave this world behind one day.

2. Embrace delayed gratification

The ability to defer gratification is a cornerstone of building wealth. Wealthy individuals prioritize long-term goals over fleeting desires, making informed financial decisions and avoiding impulsive spending.

3. Develop superiority complex

Life is a game after all, and you get to design your avatar. Be a character full of confidence and vigor. Have courage to say you are better than others at something. If you don’t built that superiority complex, your internal voice will kill your self-confidence before you can build it.

4. Invest in yourself

The wealthy view themselves as valuable assets. They invest in personal and professional development through education, mentorship, and experiences that enhance their skillset and knowledge. They are their own caretakers.

5. Challenge assumptions and adapt

The wealthy understand that the world is constantly changing. They challenge their assumptions, embrace lifelong learning, and adapt their strategies to navigate an ever-evolving landscape.

6. Keep the inferiority complex alive

Wisdom doesn’t just come from creating superiority complex and accomplishing things. Accepting struggle and feeling inferior and channeling all that feeling and anger towards building something great is what the wealthy are good at.

7. Be comfortable with calculated risks

The wealthy understand that achieving big goals often involves taking calculated risks. They assess situations, weigh potential outcomes, and make informed decisions to move forward strategically.
